Where Is My OBD2 Port?

Where is my OBD2 port? All vehicles manufactured after 1996 for US and European markets are equipped with an OBD port to which you can connect your diagnostic scan tools or any after market performance tuning device like Super OBD2 Chip Tuning Box. When we say OBD2 compliant it conforms to the latest global standard.Hands down asian car makers were not quick to follow the global standard regarding OBD2 after 1996. Based on available data, asian car manufacturers started to implement it starting MY2000 for gasoline powered vehicles and in MY2004 for diesel powered cars. Since the implementation of the OBD2 standard, each vehicle has a standard 16-pin connector. The standard states that the port must be located inside the vehicle passenger compartment. Depending on the make and model, it may or may not be easy to locate.Sometimes, the most difficult thing is to find this port!

The On-Board Diagnostics 2 (OBD2) port is used to access the vehicle’s computer for various tasks, such as emissions tests and diagnostics.
